The children now have sanitizing stations, sanitizer, and more masks thanks to donated supplies and a visit from Dr. Hauscar Rodriguez, Dr. Maria Capellan, Dr. Yosanly Cornelio, and Nurse Redline! At this time, this is the ONLY Batey that has not had any cases reported of COVID-19. Such great news!
I invite you to click on the video to see the children being taught how to use the new sanitizing stations. The video also gives you an opportunity to see first hand the care Dr. Rodriguez and others provide for the children. Dr. Rodriguez reported that overall, the children are doing very well! It's so great to hear that the major concern of malnutrition is no longer reported since the children now receive regular meals.
Pascal's Pantry continues to work side by side with Haitian migrants and the recognized leaders of Bateys in the Dominican Republic, to assist them to improve their lives, their health and their own human agency. A major priority is the reduction of food insecurity of the children and we continue to make great strides in doing this through our community kitchen.
I join the children in thanking you for all the gifts given to sustain their lives.Together, we continue to make a difference in the lives of many. Thank you so much for your support!
With all my gratitude,Â
