President and Founder
Tanya benedict, PhD,cph
Tanya Benedict, PhD, CPH, is the Founder and President of Pascal's Pantry and also serves as a Full Professor at Creighton University in the School of Medicine, Department of Clinical Research and Public Health. Since her first visit to Batey Dos in the Dominican Republic, she has been actively working to improve the lives of those living in this Haitian community. Now, when she visits, she is greeted with smiles and laughter from the children who once were struggling to survive. She has seen, firsthand, the changes that occur when basic human needs are met. The work accomplished by Pascal's Pantry continues to her motivation.

Thomas Kelly, PhD
Thomas M. Kelly is a Professor of Theology at Creighton University since 2002. His areas of interest include Ignatian Spirituality, Ignatian Leadership, International immersion education, Catholic Social Thought, Liberation theology and Vatican II. He publishes in both English and Spanish. Much of his work facilitates encounters between people with privilege and people on the margins, where he believes the Holy Spirit is active and present.
Secretary
Sherise Beale, mba
Sherise joined the Board of Pascal's Pantry in 2019 and brings several years of marketing experience. A graduate of the University of Michigan with M.B.A, she has had a successful career in marketing with a focus on data analysis. Having spent over a decade in service to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, it is her belief that those who are blessed should bless others.

Brian Boerner, bsba
Brian is a Graduate of the Heider College of Business at Creighton University and currently works at Sandhills Energy where he is the Director of Operations. Brian was introduced to Batey Dos and the amazing work that Pascal's Pantry does in the community after making a trip to the Dominican Republic with Tom Kelly in December of 2019. Brian lives in Omaha and is also involved with the local community through his commitment as a big brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Sarah rosland
Based in Chicago, IL, Sarah is a transnational social worker and an immigration policy advocate with a strong desire to promote human rights throughout the Americas. Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Creighton University and now holds a graduate degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice with a specialization in Global Social Development and a Graduate Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean studies. Sarah currently works at Alianza Americas as the Membership Organizer where she works with migrant communities across the U.S. to promote and advocate for sound and humane immigration policies throughout the Americas and the Caribbean.
